- After clearing the rally test, you must have at least two years of experience working in the Indian Army.
Recruitment by Army

If an NDA cadet desires to be a member of any of the three wings, they must join the corresponding wing upon graduation. Volunteer Gentlemen Cadets from the Indian Military Academy/Officers Training Academy will be commissioned at a rate of two officers per battalion annually.
MS Branch will assign a parent regiment to these officers. Officers shall submit their application in duplicate to MS Branch (MS-2) with the commanding officer's countersignature and a recommendation from higher HQ (one up).
The Parachute Regiment accepts officers from all Arms and Services. Volunteers must serve fewer than five years, be SHAPE-I in the medical category, and have an "EXCELLENT" BPET rating. These officers will maintain their regimental/corps connection (parent regiment).
Para SF Commando paratroopers receive training for three months, whereas Para Commando Special Forces training lasts six months. The training period for Para Commando Special Forces is a total of nine months.
Training of a Para Commando
